Godly Sorrow

Godly sorrow is essential to seeing miracles of deliverance and healing in your life. In order to touch God in a way that is authentic and pleasing to Him, there must be sorrow that is from God, not as the world teaches us. Have God move in your life towards Godly sorrow. There is deliverance after the teaching.

Brokenness and Humbleness

Brokenness and humbleness gets miracles from God. And people who don’t have those features cannot get healed and delivered and usually do not end up growing spiritually.

Matthew 5:3 - Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Another way to say it would be: Fortunate or prosperous are those who are not spiritually arrogant, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Psalms 51:16,17 - For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

Pride, arrogance, vanity and taking offenses of what somebody did to you with some kind of wrong will quench the spirit in an instant, and you’re done. You have no chance of going anywhere or amounting to anything.

1 Peter 5:5 - Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE

I like this thought of the word used here as clothe. So when you get up you need to clothe yourself with humility. You’re going to need it when that person is driving crazy on the freeway. When your co-worker/boss messes up and you have the chance to smash them with your words. No you need to be humble with each other. That can be hard sometimes. How about church? :)
I want grace.I need grace. I don’t want God to be opposed to me.

2 Corinthians 7:8-10 - For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it—for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while— I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

See, there are several different kinds of sorrow. There’s self pity, human sorrow, over how things are going rotten for me. And so I’m sad over my rotten, stinking life, that sucks. But that kind of sadness of sorrow is not going to get you a miracle or help you at all, in fact, will make you sicker. If you get sorrow too much over your rotten, stinking life, it flips over later into clinical depression.
There’s oh man I got caught so I’m sorry that I got caught and now my I’m in trouble.
And then there is genuine Godly sorrow that produces repentance.

Psalms 56:8 - You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?

Isaiah 57:15
For thus says the high and exalted One
Who lives forever, whose name is Holy,
"I dwell on a high and holy place,
And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the contrite.

Revelation 21:4 - and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.

James 4:7-10 - Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

• Turn your laughter into mourning and joy to gloom

Meek/Gentle/Humble

Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
Psalms 37:11 - But the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

Romans 2:4 - The goodness of God leads you to repentance.

It should be the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. The devil tries to use shame, accusation, guilt, and regret to name a few. That is not Godly Sorrow. If we do not allow God’s perfect love to reach us, we can fall deep into self-hate and self-rejection and all the unloving spirits. We need to have true Godly Sorrow, but then we need to receive God’s perfect love and forgiveness.

Hebrews 4:15,16 - For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Romans 8:1 - Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER to Turn to Jesus: Father, in Jesus name, I humble myself. I surrender my life to you completely. I believe that You died for me and came back to life. I ask for forgiveness for sin that I thought, acted in, and chased after. You alone can save me from my sin. Take my sin far from me, clean me by your blood that you bled for me. I repent. I turn away from every sin and I come close to you. I am yours and you are my only my God and savior. Amen.

Prayer for Godly Sorrow

Father, in Jesus name, I come to you and ask that you would give me godly sorrow so that I do not take your forgiveness for granted. Take away anything that would make your grace cheap in my mind. I know that it cost you everything for my sins to be forgiven. With your Holy Spirit please bring to mind anything that I have not repented of or any areas of sin I have not turned away from. Amen. 1st John 1:9 and Psalms 139:23, 24

Prayer for General Confession of Sin in Generations

(If you know specific sins in family line, confess those sins specifically.)
-Heavenly Father, I confess my sins of idolatry, pride, rebellion, witchcraft, unbelief, sexual sin, and all iniquity and I thank you for forgiveness. (1 John 1:9)
-Heavenly Father, I stand in the gap for ALL my ancestors and confess their sins of idolatry, pride, rebellion, witchcraft, unbelief sexual sin, and all iniquity and claim forgiveness for their sins. (Leviticus 26:40)
-Heavenly Father, I forgive ALL my ancestors for all sins that may have affected me by them causing any curses in our bloodlines. (Matthew 6:14 and Mark 11:25)
In the name of Jesus, I confess the sins of my generations and forgive everyone in my generations. Amen.

Prayer to Forgive Myself and Break Curses

Heavenly Father, I forgive myself for every sin I ever committed. Thank you Lord Jesus that on the cross, you were made a curse (Galatians 3:13) that I might be redeemed from the curse, and enter into the blessing. (Galatians 3:14) And because of what you did Lord Jesus, right here, right now, in your precious name Jesus, I release myself from every and all curses over me and my family and I claim the blessing that you purchased with your blood. (Genesis 24:1)

Prayer to Refuse Evil Spirits

I refuse the "influence" or "power" of evil spirits.
I refuse to be "led" or "guided" by evil spirits.
I refuse to "obey" evil spirits.
I refuse to "pray" to evil spirits.
I refuse to "ask" anything of evil spirits.
I refuse to "surrender" to evil spirits.
I refuse all "knowledge" from evil spirits.
I refuse to "listen" to evil spirits.
I refuse "visions" from evil spirits.
I refuse the "touch" of evil spirits.
I refuse "messages" from evil spirits.
I refuse all "help" and "suggestions" from evil spirits.
I, myself, "choose" and "WILL" to do God’s work that he has called to do.
I refuse all the "authority" of evil spirits over me: their "right" to me: their "claims" upon me: their "power" in me: their "influence" in or upon me.

Deliverance

Pray the following:
Lord, I ask in your name, Jesus, shut down all the airspace and all neighboring areas within a 50 mile radius of us or as you see fit, Lord.

Let all of hell tremble as God’s angels come and subdue God’s enemies in Jesus name. Place the blood of Jesus over all of us. Let peace fall on us and torment fall on all the evil spirits. Line everyone up that need to go tonight.

Tell the the demons that are leaving where they are going so that they are in more torment. Cut off reinforcements, cut off communication, put confusion and snares and brimstone on all the evil spirits.

Block all spirits from transferring. Send legions of angels over each person to help deliver them.

Every spirit and the ones connected to the group must leave. I break the curses of each one of these demons, in Jesus name as I call them out to leave.

I cut off the ungodly soul ties to these spirits that they are using to me and the people I command the spirits to leave. In Jesus name, I close the doors to them.

In Jesus name, I command all evils spirts of and connected to these spirits to go now:

●Stiff-necked
●Idolatry
●Disappointment and hatred towards God, Distorted view of God
●Hardened heart
●Seared conscious
●Lack of remorse
●Fear of punishment
●Lying and deception spirit
●Love of sin
●Accusation and blame
●Trauma
●Doubt and unbelief
●Shame and embarrassment
●Insecurity
●Forgetfulness
●Religious spirits
●Denominational spirits
●Pharisee spirits
●Sadducee spirits
●Self-righteous
●Legalism
●Perfectionism
●Hypocrite Spirits
●Unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment
●Envy and Jealousy
●Anger spirits of all kinds
●All spirits stealing, hindering, and blocking the fruit of the Spirit.

Now just like Joshua put the 5 enemy kings in caves until they could be destroyed, put every evil spirit that did not leave in a black box with an angel chained to them proclaiming the Word of God against them with the glory of the Lord in it and the blood of Jesus all over the inside of the space.

Let the demons be tormented until you Lord set up a time for the people to be delivered from the spirits. Cut off communication with all the others and they are not allowed to manifest.

Lord, I seal this deliverance and close all the doors to these evil spirits. They are not allowed to come back.

I also pray that all the pieces of the soul mind and emotions that have been crushed that you would bring them back and heal everyone so that they are at peace and have the full mind of Christ.

In Jesus name I PRAY AMEN.

This Lesson’s Practice Action

Pray aggressively for the Gift of Godly Sorrow.
Of all the people you may have hurt over the years and all the pain you caused yourself, you actually hurt your Heavenly Father the most.
He was wounded by your behavior.
Sorrow for hurting Him is healing and life changing (II Cor. 7:8-10). Your tears will heal you (Ps. 56:8, Rev. 7:17, 21:4).
