In this section of Spiritual Roots to sickness and disease, we go over the spiritual ways that evil spirits can be working against someone to have a sickness or disease.

This is a guide only. Gods only truly knows what is working against you completely.

As a reminder, please incorporate the following 3 R's: (Recognize, take Responsibility, and Repent) in your ministry as well as, at a minimum, these 2 blocks to healing:

Unforgiveness – If this is not dealt with – towards God, self, and others, the person will most likely go no further.
Not discerning the Lord’s body Communion (I Corinthians 11:27-31) – 27 “Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.” When you partake of what forgiveness by God represents in communion but do not repent unto Him, you made what Jesus did at he cross of no effect for you. It’s not the sacrament that saves you – it’s the obedience.

Any number of these spiritual root issues may be generational iniquities, meaning that the same spiritual root issues were present in the father or mother or grandparents even though they might not have had the disease.

After ministering, pray a prayer for healing. We encourage you to consider speaking healing in the name of Jesus to the tissue, organ or body part that is in need of healing. Also, command the body to come back into balance and to function as God intended from the foundation of the world. If a creative miracle is needed, call it forth in the name of Jesus.

Please remember that our prayers for healing should not be spoken as a mantra or as a legalistic prayer. Our Father God knows what we need before we ask. We trust that God will meet you thru this process.
